What an absolutely amazing hotel. The location is incredible and the amenities and service were outstanding. This is classic luxury with no details spared. The rich history and architecture throughout is breathtaking and the rooms were impeccable with one of the most comfortable beds and amazing turndown service I’ve had in a while. Great location for almost everything in Barcelona. Very close to several Gaudi museums. However, the rooms were tired, with tears in the wallpaper, and not properly cleaned (crumbs left on the chair, etc.) The linens were clean. The step up into the bathtub was quite high, although the bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The deck view was lovely, although the bar up there was closed. For the price I would have expected a little less tired and better cleaned room.
