I didn't get parking on the first night but there was street parking available. My unit didn't have a fridge or microwave. The room was clean but very small and uninteresting. It was unremarkable. The grotto pool and dry sauna was really nice although the sauna didn't get that hot. I'm not sure if it was great value but it was clean enough.

Filthy. It’s really disappointing because this hotel has so much potential. We stayed in a suite that would’ve been great for our family but will never return as it was so DIRTY. Carpets had hair, fur, crumbs, candies….Went to get an extra blanket from the closet and it was covered in pet hair. We have a child who has a serious allergy to dogs which made her so ill all night. Coughing, swollen eyes and itchy. Such a rough night staying at the fox. Ruined our Banff trip. Hit the road first thing. Little one started feeling better as soon as we left. Shocking… Hotel gave us a discount to compensate which was nice but would never pay to stay at a place like this. Total waste.

We always, and will continue to, stay at the Fox each November. This particular experience we had some problems with the noise of the guests above us, until 3am. The staff kindly offered to move us the following day. The only caution regarding this particular experience was there was a bread knife randomly stored in the bottom drawer of the kitchen. Due to staying here many times, this was not the normal. So I’d suggest checking to childproof rooms for both the Hotel as well as the guest. Grotto is always amazing and Jiit(Git? Sp?) was wonderfully accommodating!
