The hotel rooms are very small no mini fridge no A/C. Both the rooms we had the doors and locks were broken. We needed the door locks and the jams to be fixed. The price per night very expensive for what was received

Hotel location was great! They provide free bus passes that allows you to go into downtown Banff without having to worry about parking. The hot tub and sauna were also great additions have long days spent hiking. On my downside is they only had a Chilli’s available as food options, which closed at 9 pm. So we were forced to eat out every night we were in Banff since we were getting back to our hotel past 8 each night.

Nice view from balcony, but hotel (like most) is on the main drag and buses and trash trucks start rolling at 6am. Also, no a/c in bedrooms so it was a bit stuffy

Chilis was a great place to eat in the restaurant! The servers were amazing and the food even better. The hotel needs some upgrades though. The elevator was a hit and miss if it would work for selecting the buttons for the floors, the door to our room didn’t lock when you would leave the room, which we didn’t know until the next day when we went to leave. The room was incredibly hot as there is no air conditioning in the rooms, only the suites have ac and a mini fridge. They did provide a fan but it barely helped, we had to leave our main door open to let in some cool night air as the window only slight opened from the top, but as there are rooms all around you, we had to keep the blinds closed so no one was able to see in. It’s a beautiful hotel, and a great location for the Roam bus route, but it’s in desperate need of upgrading.

Staying in Banff was special. This hotel had hot springs, but unfortunately, we didn't have time to use them. It was in a great area, walkable to many places. We just wished they had coffee or breakfast items in the lobby.

Wonderful stay!

It was in a great location with parking included. We also enjoyed the hot springs and sauna. It would be nice to have breakfast included but it isn't. Overall we had a wonderful stay!

The property was very clean and having Chili’s on site was convenient for breakfast, which was very good. We really appreciated the free Roam Bus passes, as the main part of town was a bit of a walk at the end of a long day of hiking and activities. One thing I disliked was that the lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was not very good. Doing hair and makeup was a little difficult as it was a little too dark. No AC for the bedroom but there was a nice fan in the closet that we put beside the bed and it helped a lot. Overall it was a good experience. Staff was very nice, easy check in and check out.

The Fox Hotel exceeded our expectations. Our loft room was exactly what we had hoped for. The location of the hotel was excellent and the underground parking was a big plus. Our stay in Banff was special because of the Fox hotel. We will recommend it to our friends.
