Gorgeous property. Beautiful exterior and interior design and well thought out. Hot tub was beautifully placed and very pretty. I enjoyed the curated coffee/milk disbursement. The team seems to be under transition or under staffed - lots of hotel supplies strewn about in random places such as parking lot. Towel/laundry bags left for collection and littered along the hallways for hours in red bags - quite unsightly. Front desk staff was friendly for the most part - but a few in training and lacking the polish expected of a property of this caliber. Saw a few staff members smoking in walkways to hotel rooms. Not the most professional appearance.

The staff was helpful, the property was beautiful, and relaxing in the gorgeous hot tub at the end of the night was divine. We also loved the ease of walking where we wanted to go, and easily hopping on the bus when our arms were full and our feet were tired. I would choose this place again in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend the Otter Hotel! The service was great, our room was nice (with comfortable beds and an amazing view), and the specialty coffee was incredible. I looked forward to that every morning. My favorite part had to be relaxing in their rooftop hot pools after a long day. I was blown away by the view of the mountains every time. I also highly recommend their restaurant, Good Folk! Their steak dinner for two was incredible, and you have to try their espresso martinis! 10/10 trip.

Don't hesitate. Book it!

Clean room, great pour over coffee, central location with complimentary bus pass. Only a 20 minute walk into downtown banff if you didnt want to bus it. The rooftop jacuzzi and lounge area was fantastic. The hotel's restaurant was the best food i had in Banff. Would definitely stay again. Loved it!
