Hotel is very nice, lobby is a bit small but very cozy and smells soo good in there. Was surprised how big the hotel room was with 2 Queen beds. Originally we booked a room with a King bed (I asked the room on higher level to be closer to roof top hot tub. Unfortunately the room view was at the brick wall ...yes you are in the mountains and will be looking at the brick wall out of the window... so I asked for another room hoping it would not be a problem as it's not a high season right now, they struggled a bit a but the staff was trying to accommodate us and they got us into a room with 2 Queen beds on the same floor window facing a main street. It was very nice and clean, except there were 3 tennis ball size stains on the carpet but we did not care about that as much as about the view. The reason we booked this hotel was the location and the roof top hot tubs, but unfortunately the hot tubs were a bit disappointment. There are quite small (only 4 people allowed in one), one was closed and the the one which was working was quite dirty (black stains all along the water level). Plus it was very slippery all around the hot tub so we had to be very careful to get in and get out. There is nice closed lounge area with the view on the roof top as well, but we chose the hotel because the hot tubs and those were not the highlight of our stay unfortunately.

Great hotel, even though parking is a challenge if you dont get hotel parkin which isnt guaranteed. We walked during our trip as we didnt want to lose our parking spot and we got the last one available. Rest of the stay was fantastic, well almost except the shower started flooding and the second day the water just got stalled. But the service staff was quick to fix it. So kudos to it. The location cant better. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Mount Royal Hotel in Banff. The location is absolutely outstanding — truly couldn’t ask for better. It’s right in the heart of Banff and within walking distance to everything, which made exploring super easy and convenient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and I really loved the rooftop jacuzzi. The only downside was that the upstairs area was closed for maintenance and one of the jacuzzi's was under service When you choose a hotel partly for amenities like this, it’s a bit disappointing when they’re not accessible. Overall, it’s a really nice hotel with a perfect location, and I would definitely stay here again. The closures are the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5.

It was a fantastic stay, clean room and comfortable. Only issue was one of the hot tubs was down for maintenance but the other one was working perfectly and not many people using when we were. We would definitely stay there again.

We want to recognize one of your staff. Unfortunately, we did not get she name but she was working on Saturday, Nov 22nd during our checkin around 2pm. I believe an Australian accent. She was absolutely wonderful to us, checked us in early and gave a complimentary upgrade for our wedding anniversary. She made our trip! We appreciate everything she did for us and will be coming back because of our experience with her. So kind and professional. You have an awesome employee that deserves all the recognition. We specifically chose this hotel because it has a rooftop hot tub. (2). We were sent a message that one of them was closed. We called the hotel as well prior and were told the hot tub was working. When we arrived both are closed and our plans for relaxing did not happen. Very disappointed to take a day off for a getaway that did not go as planned. Staff were great and apologetic.
