This hotel was fantastic! Right on the edge of town, but completely walkable and they offer you a free roam bus pass to use. The onsite restaurant and cafe was beyond fabulous.
Rooms are spacious, clean and well designed! We used the hot pools daily as well as the outdoor firepit. Views of the mountain range are spectacular.
The staff were all very nice and helpful! The hotel property is beautiful, modern, clean, and cozy. Ample parking was available, we never had any issues. One of the main reasons we selected this hotel was because of the rooftop heated pool and hot tub - it was worth it! The views were gorgeous and it was so relaxing. Also loved that they had board games - you just need to ask for them at the front desk. The bus access was right outside across the street, and the hotel provides bus tickets for your stay. The rooms also had a great view, and were very clean. The only negative thing I can think of is that I wish the bed sheets were softer. They felt kind of rough and not very cozy. The thermostat in the room was easily adjustable and worked quickly to heat up or cool down the room. My only other wish is that the TVs had access to streaming services. It appeared that you can only see live local TV. Besides those minor things, I would 100% stay here again! The hotel restaurant was also very good! We had breakfast there once during our stay and all 6 of us enjoyed the meal very much. The coffee bar was also very convenient and we all made a habit of getting lattes as we were leaving/entering the property.
The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful mountain view. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous view directly overlooking the mountains, truly a breathtaking experience. Very well situated at the start of Banff street as well. Staff was incredibly kind and accommodating as well. Had an excellent time, just a beautiful experience all around. Would definitely recommend!
The hotel is nice as it’s newer than most hotels in Banff. The hot tubs were great - slippers would have been great if provided as we all had to wear our shoes or boots to the hot tubs
Our room was nice with the balcony view which was amazing
Unfortunately we had an awful moldy / sewer smell in our room. We luckily had conference meetings all day but when we got back late Saturday night the smell was very overwhelming. We mentioned this to the young lady when checking out at 8am Sunday. She said we should tell them next time so they could get maintaiance to look into this issue.
We knew no maintenance worker was going to be up at 12am to come fix the odour and we just wanted some sleep before having our next at 8:30am.
Our friends were in another room in building c had no odour so unfortunately it must have been just our room 730 ( as we asked our friends Sunday at our meeting if they had an odour too. They said there was good )

The staff were very attentive and friendly. We found a few stains on the bedsheets which looked like they were never washed which sort of freaked us out. The doors and walls are quite thin as well so it was tough to sleep; we woke up frequently due to creaks or sounds in the halls.
Although the listing said free breakfast but they don’t have free breakfast! There’s a restaurant downstairs called sudden sally but you have to pay.
The views were amazing!!! The location was perfect. The hot spring pool was a chefs kiss! Staff are friendly. Great location too. They give you a free bus pass for 3 days which is so convenient if you don’t have a car

Took my husband for his birthday and we absolutely loved the hotel. Great area, 13 mins walk to downtown action. Hotel has a great restaurant and hot tubs are phenomenal with a sauna. Highly recommend this hotel.
The place was great, comfortable, with nice view on the mountains ! Everything was in the room to enjoy your stay (coffee maker, microwave, microfridge, compost and recycling). They even gave you free pass for the Roam bus transit while in Banff, so no parking spot to find and to pay. The only small thing is that the doors are not noise proof, so unpleasant if others talk loud or have their tv up. But overall great experience ! Thanks
*Tell new guests about the “blackout curtains” in the room when they check-in.
*“Mountain”view was a little misleading; it was actually a view of a road and gas station in front of a mountain.
*Provide more luggage racks in the room.
*Room was well maintained and clean.
*Breakfast was not “free” for us; we had to pay $25.20 CAD including the tip.
This was our second stay with the Hotel. Excellent service and staff were friendly.
My only suggestion is to monitor the Hot Springs in the evening. I am not sure if babies and small children should be brought in to swim. It was very very noisy and small kids screaming because it was too hot. It wasn’t very relaxing to unwind.
I had an amazing stay at the Banff Canoe Hotel! The waterfall hot tub and sauna were absolutely incredible — such a relaxing experience. I loved the thoughtful touches like the little coffee station with a sink, and the fireplace and balcony made the room feel so cozy and special. Truly an unforgettable getaway!

Room is spacious and beautiful. The hotel is consisted of 4 buildings (A, B, C and D), each with parking spots adjacent to it so it very convenient to get to the vehicle. We were there during shoulder season and there seems to be just enough parking. There is an area with 2 hot pools (hot tubs) and gas-fire pit. Both our room and the hot pools are facing the mountains so the view is stunning and sitting in the hot pool can feel therapeutic. It was not too crowded when we were there. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend others of this hotel. I find it to be one of the more nicer looking hotels in banff.
