"This was such an amazing find. The rooms are beautiful and had the best sleep ever in a hotel. The beds are so comfortable, our family is still talking about the beds. Add in an amazing lake view and the property is gorgeous. We really want to come back and stay longer on the next trip."

"Rebekah was one of the best hosts that we have ever worked with. Her responsiveness and care about our trip was truly amazing. The house itself was very clean and well stocked. We felt very comfortable! The check-in and out process was also incredibly easy. The house has been in the family for generations. The plus side to that is that the house seems to be made of cinder block and we literally could not hear the neighbors at all! I looked out the window at one point to see that the neighbors (and extended family) were sitting around a fire, with children laughing and playing and I could not hear them! That is the beauty of this place - the tranquil quietness. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, this is your place. The upstairs bathroom is dated, but it really doesn't matter when you have had one of the most restful night's sleep in the quiet beauty of this house and Lake Balsam."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The yard was beautiful, and the fire pit was a favorite. We also loved relaxing on the deck, enjoying the beautiful view and the large umbrella that provided plenty of shade. We rented our pontoon from Balsam Lake Lodge, which made pickup and drop-off very easy and convenient. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay."
