We loved staying here. They have a full self-serve bar that's entirely free, plus breakfast in the morning and snack in the late afternoon; all free! And there are tons of really lovely places to lounge and relax in. Definitely would stay here again if we are ever in Amsterdam. Also, the location was excellent. It's right next to several of the museums, and it wasn't more than a 25 minute walk from anything we wanted to see.

The location is excellent and it is a walking distance from the main museums in Amsterdam. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We were impressed by how clean the spaces in the hotel were. I highly recommend it if you want to visit Amsterdam. For sure I will stay there again.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Jan Luyken! location was so convenient to the museums and an easy walk/bike ride to central Amsterdam. We enjoyed the breakfast and coffee every morning, as well as being able to fill up water bottles (still or sparkling!), the complimentary beverages, and the incredibly delightful and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable - the bed was perhaps the most comfortable I've slept in (including ours at home!), and the bathrooms were extremely roomy with modern updates. I will absolutely be recommending the Jan Luyken to friends and family thinking of visiting Amsterdam!
