"The location is excellent. You are a walking distance from everything. In general, hotel was nice and the staff was helpful. I was able to be checked in early. The room was small though. If you are travelling with 2 suitcases it will be hard to keep them open together. It was a bad smell in the bathroom, I assumed it was coming from the sewage. The way the faucet is situated in sink in the bathroom makes hard to wash the face. It could have been designed differently so it can move sideways. Otherwise, no problems."

"We were welcomed by a most polite and helpful staff and enjoyed the lovely lobby area of the hotel throughout out stay. The bartenders were friendly and made great drinks. We enjoyed the lobby pool table - what a great idea. Our room was clean, but small. It had a very comfortable bed and was cleaned well each day. The bathroom situation was one in which there was a small closet for the toilet and a small closet for the shower (no place to hang your towel), and the hot and cold water was not easy to figure out but we did, after a while. The sink did not have much of a counter for laying out shaving, dental products, skincare and makeup. The television did not offer a lot of options for English speakers on the news of the day, and there were no newspapers anywhere in the proximity of the hotel. The elevator had issues whereby it would sometimes not go all the way up to our floor and we would have to take the steps. The staff showed concern and felt very bad for this, and worked on it. We did not include the breakfast with our room because of the price - but we did go once. It was pricy, but a very nice buffet with good, healthy options. Again, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the lobby area was excellent for a drink and a game of pool."

"My Honest Review of This Hotel As a customer service professional, I have always emphasized that a business’s ability to handle situations effectively is paramount. Upon my arrival, I encountered an issue with the air conditioning in my first room. Despite the hotel’s diligent efforts to rectify the situation, including dispatching an engineer to my room, the problem persisted. However, the next morning, I was fortunate to encounter a young lady at the front desk who not only changed my room but also relocated all my belongings to the next room. The newly assigned room featured an upgraded air conditioning unit. While occasional system resets were necessary, the front desk consistently displayed a genuine apology and a willingness to assist. The staff’s exceptional service exceeded my expectations. Each time I returned from my day trip, the bed was made, and fresh towels were provided. The room itself is quite basic, fulfilling its primary function. While it may not be a five-star hotel, I was aware of this when making my booking. I have no complaints regarding the room’s amenities. Although I wish I had a phone to contact the front desk directly, I am now focusing on the positive aspects. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Its strategic location offers convenient access to the attractions of Amsterdam. Furthermore, the staff’s exceptional service is truly commendable."
