Hottest Room in Amsterdam. Not a place to stay in the summer months. The room is more hot than my oven. They need to get aircondition so bad!! Had a lot of mosquito bites as Well after visit. Maybe bed bugs? Furthermore the stairs are dangerous inside hotel. Great placement in town. The staff was also great. A bar and so on next to hotel.

Location is great, lots of bars/cafes/restaurants nearby. I was in the basement in a long narrow room with two single beds. I will say, stayed in another basement room in another Amsterdam earlier, and this one had no smell. So that's a plus, as it's an issue in Amsterdam. Overall not bad. I did spy a silverfish (bug) on the floor once, and the TV didn't work, but I didn't care about it, so that was nbd. Staff did quickly fix the shower when I complained there was no hot water. So happy about that. Overall not bad for price. Nothing to write home about.

The room and bathroom is tiny. The staff were nice especially the evening staff. He was great! He helped bought up the luggage for us. The stairs were steep and he was very helpful with carrying it for us! There were a lot of issues in the first night but was fixed the next day.

The hotel was as advertised and is located in walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and museums. The facility was under renovation when I was there which made check in crowded. The stairs are steep and likely not an issue for younger travelers. I struggled a little with the stairs while carry my bags.
