This is our new favorite place to stay!!! The amenities are so amazing for those with families or who are looking for more activity than just sleeping. The playground was spotless and the rooms were too. Everything had been remodeled but a bit of the old class and charm from the original hotel still shines through and makes the charm even more appealing. So many places to take cute family pictures or whatnot as well. The rooms were so nicely updated and they were cozy and quiet despite the atrium happenings. Super impressed! Staff was so friendly and helpful!

East check-in and staff responds quickly to messages. Parking is not easy for larger vehicles but plenty of space. Very convenient and comfortable for being under renovation. Restaurant is overpriced which is usually the case when inside the hotel. Example. A small green salad plate of nachos with cheese, diced red onions/tomatoes and fresh sliced jalapeno was $10. If you added chicken the fee was $10 so $20 for a very small plate of nachos. Would stay again but definitely eat elsewhere.

What a cool, creative and magical place to spend the evening. So much to see and do and although I was so low on this trip, this would be a perfect place for a family to visit. It’s a bit of a wonderland if you’re a child or a teenager with an indoor pool, playgrounds, putt putt, miniature golf, killer restaurant, and the list goes on and on…. Truly. The staff and owner are a total delight, and the property is well loved and maintained.

The room was great. Staff was kind. Seemed like there was plenty of things to keep you busy if you were to stay there for a longer period of time. We really like the restaurant/bar that’s attached to the hotel. Will stay there over and over when coming to Amarillo.

Parking lot was full because an event they were having. Hotel looked dirty and outdated. My room was old, smelled bad. I went to bed in my regular clothes I was not feeling safe but needed a place to stay for that night. Shower reminded me of my grandmas old house in Mexico. Also I was hot all night. My AC vent had mold and I did not want to turn it on and breathe all that. Stay somewhere else.

Horrible experience. The noise is loud from the people above us. The room was so outdated and needed repairs along with the musky mildew smell covered up by an awful air freshener. No phone in the room so had to walk up to the front to raise the issue of the noise above our room when already on pjs. The room was so uncomfortable that my husband and I stayed out all day and left at 6am in the morning from this rat hole. The rooms advertised are NOT the rooms you get!! They are all not remodeled. Also had weird see through curtains on the glass doors so you could see people walking by out your door. Would not recommend and would never stay here again.

The desk clerk was very friendly and check in only took maybe 1 minute. My room was great and my stay very comfortable. This was my second stay here and I’ll return each time I’m driving back from Colorado through Amarillo.
