Come stay at the farm, 8 mi S of 1-40, 4 mi E of I-27, in our charming, newly redecorated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home in south Amarillo. Guests call it “cozy, immaculate, feels like home only better.” Amenities include WiFi and HVAC, 2 queen bedrooms, one with TV. The cowboy room with TV sleeps 3 in a twin and a full bed. The fully outfitted kitchen, backyard grill, and spacious dining room make cooking and dining convenient while the den features a 55" TV, ample comfortable seating, family games, and a wide collection of Western and American history books. The utility room offers full washer/dryer, wash-up area and leads into the privacy-fenced backyard which is partially available in '26 as we reseed most of that area. Ample parking away from the street. This is a relaxing place for star gazing or observing the daytime sky with storms approaching or leaving, sunrise / sunset, astronomical events or just a clear day.
This 20 acre former wheat and livestock farm may offer wildlife sightings such as skunks (don't go for a walk after dusk, but if you see one, don't make any noise and don't run), opossums, foxes, coyotes, possibly snakes. In the early mornings you can hear neighborhood roosters crow and a donkey bray.
This comfortable and safe home is on a busy county road. The traffic goes fast. Kids need to beware of that street.
