The motel itself was fine and a good value. Good breakfast. You can hear I-40 traffic from the front side, and it is a pet-friendly motel, so many people bring their dogs to stay. (We did hear a dog whining from 5:30 am to 7 am the first morning as their owner kept them alone in their room.)

Every time I come to Amarillo I stay at Atrea. It has been recently renovated to a more modern look. The staff is always courteous and readily available and the rooms are clean and spacious. This was my first trip on motorcycle and their dedicated covered motorcycle parking was an added treat. Always highly recommended.

Our room looked nothing like the photos. We walked in and the trash can was full and floor was disgusting. It was very loud and hard to sleep. Don't recommend if you are looking for a clean, good night's sleep. We couldn't wait to get out of there.
