The property is in a lovely area where deer, rabbits and birds provide peaceful watching. The house is clean and spacious. There is a fire pit outside and a large table and chairs on the patio. the kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable.

My husband and I and another couple really enjoyed staying here for for several nights. Every day we saw mule deer near the house! It was very clean, comfortable, and close to Palo Duro Canyon State Park! We loved walking over to the neighborhood park, and the guys enjoyed fishing as well. There is a Kuereg coffee maker and k-cups.

We really enjoyed our weekend away hiking at Palo Duro and staying at the Wagon Wheel House. It had everything we needed. The owner was an incredible communicator…changing our dates when needed and making it so easy. She even took care of a little cute raccoon issue. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

Perfect space for our needs! We loved being close enough to Palo Duro and Amarillo for easy day trips. The spacious living room gave us plenty of room and the kitchen was great for preparing most of our meals at home.
