My family and I always stayed at this location. But this time it was horrible.
We stayed 12/24-12/26. We had no heat or hot water for both of our days. We couldn’t check out on the 1st Day because it was Christmas! We alerted the staff of the condition of our 2 bedroom suite at 6am and the they told us first- “they needed to check the inventory before doing anything about switching the rooms”. We were without heat and hot water for 8-10 hours.
We stopped at front desk before breakfast at 8; spoken to a gentleman; he said he could switch the room. Took us 40 minutes to move 5 people and all of our belongings to the other side of the hotel.
After being in the room less than 5 hours we lost heat and hot water again! This time for the whole day. It was Christmas; I called customer service and Hilton Honors. I was told they couldn’t help me until we checked out.
When we checked out we were assured that we could receive a full refund. Since going through everything. Now almost 4 weeks later we’ve only received a partial refund.
I’m completely disgusted and disappointed with this hotel. I thought the manager would have at least given me the refund and respect to apologize for this situation.
