The hotel, booked through Expedia, charged a reasonable $443 for a 6 night stay. Only problem is my entire reservation was cancelled by the hotel when nobody checked in the first night even though I explained our circumstances at the time of booking. If Expedia says they have to honor the hotel's cancellation policy why do they mention their refund policy? The hotel policy states no refund if cancelled AFTER the check in date/time. I DID NOT CANCEL, YOU CANCELLED MY RESERVATION! I was coming to town to meet my cousin who just got out of the hospital. He needed somewhere to stay until I arrived so we could attend his sister's funeral and look for permanent housing. So Expedia won't help me and I've gotten no response to phone calls and emails to the hotel. I don't even know who took my money but never again will I use Expedia nor will I patronize the hotel. I could contact the Better Business Bureau although I doubt the hotel deals with them. I will take to social media to let my friends and family know about your business practices. And next time I am in town I may look up the owner personally since Rumor Has It we went to high school together. Shame on you for your lack of compassion and Shady business practices. The hotel is not well kept but it is cheap and convenient to everything. I can only hope that someone at your establishment actually reads these reviews and will respond and possibly work with me.
