Jose is an excellent host. Pl ask for him at the reception desk. The only complaint we have is about the photography service . It’s fraud. They charge in mex n conversion rate is fixed n more than std. once you are done with the shoot the supervisor very coldly demands money. They wasted my hours. Beware if them. Hire a local photographer if you really want.

Pools full of mold, staff does not care about customers much, the privilege lied offered a free massage after the presentation and they only gave a voucher for spa, we talked with the supervisor of the privilege club he didn't care he says okay a guy who offered to you lied but not effort to fix it t all.Akumal supposed to be a Luxury service they do not have lines for drinks at the sports bar two days on the road when all the resort had no issues again guest service did not do anything to fix it.Stay away from this place.

Una falta de respeto no tuvimos acceso a restaurantes ala carta la mitad de hotel está en reparación y eso ustedes como página no lo dijeron muy malo prácticamente solo buffet y muy malo

The property was nice…a bit older but pretty clean. Renovations are still going on at this time. I didn’t like food especially because I found hair in one of meals.

As expected, the resort has an incredibly friendly accommodating staff from the bottom up. Plenty of options for sun and fun whether the in pools or on the beach, and loads of excursions if you want to go off resort. The Mayan Riviera is a really beautiful backdrop to this sprawling manicured set of resorts. Note: Evening restaurants (non buffet) require reservations and although you can start this up to 10days prior to your checkin date, the restaurants were mostly booked that far in advance. We were able to get into a restaurant each night by checking individual restaurants schedules around 4:30pm, the day of, to look for cancelations. Yay! But honestly I really don’t want to spend my vacation time stressing each day about my ability to use my dinner credits for a nice restaurant meal. It also kept us from planning excursions as not knowing what time we would eat dinner until late afternoon. Also if you miss your reservation it’s a $20 fee so that can be problematic if you only found the earliest dinner times. All in all we really enjoyed 7 great meals with some exceptional menus.
