"I recently stayed at Ibis Darling Harbour and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience overall. The hotel is in quite poor condition—carpets are ripped in places, and both the rooms and bathrooms feel very worn and in need of maintenance and renovation. Service was also disappointing for the most part, as some staff members came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. However, I do want to acknowledge one staff member—a young woman at reception—who kindly assisted us in changing rooms. She was professional, approachable, and made an effort to improve our stay, which we really appreciated. That said, the general condition of the hotel and the inconsistent service made the stay far below expectations. I hope management takes steps to improve both the facilities and customer experience."

"Good Breakfast and close to rhe airport"

"The property is in a good location close to Darling Harbour, but it is certainly getting tired. For example, the bike in the gym did not work correctly, the door to gym looked like it had broken for years, the blinds in our room were broken and every just needed a good refresh. The staff service was OK. One pet perv is when you specifically say on check in that you are not interested in marketing emails or in joining a reward club and do not check that box, and 15 minutes later you start getting spammed. Well that will happen if you stay here. Honestly good value for money but I would book elsewhere next time I am in Sydney."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. From the moment of entering the property, I found a warm and welcoming atmosphere which continued throughout my 2 day stay. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff who went over and above to help me rendezvous with my cousin who had difficulty finding the place by car , even though it was close to midnight by the time he arrived. The room was elegantly presented, comfortable and very quiet. The view from the 10th floor was restful and overlooked parkland. A generous breakfast buffet came with the package. My thanks to all for the smiles and concern after a family bereave. 💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Always love staying here especially when going to the lyric theatre. Plenty of Dining options and close to the water. Pool is lovely and breakfast amazing"
