"The YMCA of the Rockies is an amazing place. While we were there for a family event in Estes, it was abundantly evident that this place is designed for families & the outdoors. With Rocky Mountain National Park as it's neighbor there were youth & families galore hiking, sight-seeing, riding, pickleball playing and crafts & self-enrichment opportunities a plenty.
Our room in Ram's Head was very clean, well appointed & comfortable; television was not needed nor missed. If your idea of a good vacation is sitting in your room & channel-surfing and watching re-runs; then no, the YMCA is NOT for you...go somewhere else for a couple of hundred a night. But for clean, comfortable & affordable room & board, by all means, Stay at the Y. And enjoy the experience. "
