Just stayed one night. Wanted to be close to Rocky Mountain National Forest for a morning hike the next day. This place was priced reasonable and was just what we were looking for. Just a place to sleep. Beautiful place in the mountains. We didn't use any of the facilities. Had dinner in Estes Park and left early in the morning. The short time we were there was enough time to see that this place would be an awesome to bring young kids. Very big grounds with a lot of things to do.

Beautiful property, stunning views friendly staff. Must visit campus has lot to offer for everyone. Rome service (sheet changing linen replacement)is not available so plan for that exchange those in another building. Tons of education activities for kids and you can learn something new too.

Rustic, but beautiful. Everyone is VERY friendly, outgoing, willing to help you. GORGEOUS Mountain View’s from all locations. Elk and deer all over the property. Great facilities. Always something to do or see. Just a few miles from the gate to the Rocky Mountains National Park. No AC, but you don’t need it at 8000’ elevation. Not for you if have lung or heart conditions.

Overall, it was very convenient. We stayed here to be close to Rocky Mountain. It was very college dorm like. The bunk beds were not made though. The blankets that we were given had hair stuck on them and the pillows were uncomfortable. But it gave us a place to rest our heads for the price.

Overall this was a good spot for us to stay a night right by Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park for the holiday weekend! It is an older property that is showing its age on the room front, with old furniture and fixtures, but the grounds and activities make up for that and then some. I do think they need to work on updating some of the rooms in the "hotel" style part of the grounds, as the fixtures like bathroom fans, chairs, and beds are all pretty old and weren't really comfortable or usable, really. The lack of a mini-fridge is also something that is a bummer, so we'd need to adjust for that! We would probably try staying in another part of the YMCA next time we come, to see if it's a bit nicer!

Super great staff and atmosphere. Our room in the twin sisters lodge didn't have a mini fridge or microwave but it was our fault for not thinking about that when we made our reservation. Beautiful property, saw several deer and elk. Would go again and recommend to others.
