Disliked: Cleanliness
I stayed one night at Quality Inn & Suites in Saint Augustine Beach. Unfortunately, the room did not meet expected cleanliness standards.
The bathroom had a strong, musty odour that was difficult to ignore, and running the fan only added constant noise without improving the air.
The floors were not properly cleaned, with visible dust and debris, particularly near the edges of the room. The overall condition made me uncomfortable walking around barefoot.
The coffee maker still contained a used filter from a previous guest, and the curtains did not fully close against the window, leaving a gap that affected privacy.
My room was on the second floor, located on the corner overlooking the pool, and noise carried very easily. I could clearly hear guests talking late into the evening and children splashing early in the morning. Rooms near the pool offer very little sound insulation.
On a positive note, the location is very good. There is a charming trail to the beach directly across the street, and a grocery store /plaza within easy walking distance.
Staff interactions were friendly, but overall the condition and cleanliness of the room were disappointing.
