Northernmost Team

Announced as part of the Alliance of American Football in the fall of 2018, the Salt Lake Stallions are the northernmost team in the league. Based out of Salt Lake City, the Stallions play all their home games at the Rice-Eccles Stadium. The blues and silver chosen to represent the team are representative of the geographical region in which they are located, more specifically the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Range. They got the name Stallions based on the area being the home to the world record in land speeding, with a horse depicted as their mascot and logo. In February of 2019, the Stallions played their first game against the Arizona Hotshots in Sun Devil Stadium. Ending in a disappointing loss, the Stallions had their chance at a win against the Hotshots at their home opener. In front of the hometown crowd, the Stallions were able to add their first point to the win column. With a team full of young talent, fans are eager to see what the Stallions are capable of in the 2019 AAF season!
