Lady Antebellum Tickets

Lady Antebellum is a county music group with pop, soul and folk elements based in Nashville, Tennessee. It was originally founded in 2006 and debuted in 2007 with the single "Love Don't Live Here," which eventually reached number three on the country music charts in May of 2008. "Love Don't Live Here" became the first single for Lady Antebellum, the group's first album.

Lady Antebellum includes three different members: Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley. Although all three individuals were already separately involved in the music industry before they met, they became much more successful as a trio. Their self-titled debut album received its platinum certification for selling at least one million copies on October 7, 2009. "Need You Now", perhaps Lady Antebellum's most successful single ever and the title track from their second album, reached the number two spot on Billboard's Hot 100 list and became number one on both the Hot Country and Hot Adult Contemporary charts, firmly establishing the band as a crossover hit. The Need You Now album debuted at number one on both the Top Country Albums and the Top 200 charts in January of 2010. It also went platinum after only a month. Their third album, Own the Night, was released in September 2011.

Lady A fans might be amused to learn that before Hillary Scott and her other two bandmates started Lady Antebellum, she tried out for the American Idol TV show twice -- with no success either time. She certainly seems to have hit her stride since then.

Lady Antebellum has racked up an impressive stack of awards and honors since almost immediately after their formation. In 2008, Lady Antebellum won the New Artist of the Year Award from the Country Music Association, as well as the Top New Duo or Group Award from the Academy of Country Music. 2009 saw the band win Single of the Year and Vocal Group of the Year at the CMA Awards and Best Country Performance by Duo or Group at the Grammys. They continued accumulating awards in the succeeding years; particularly impressive were the Best Country Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Country Performance and Best Country Song awards they received at the 2011 Grammys.

Lady A has maintained a busy touring schedule for nearly its entire history; the band's massive popularity, however, has made finding cheap tickets for Lady Antebellum challenging, to say the least.
