Cheap flights from Shanghai (SHA) to Honolulu (HNL)

Shanghai Pu Dong (PVG) is the major airport serving Shanghai, and one of the busiest in all of Asia. It can be accessed via Highways S1, S32 and S1501. Flights usually last for about nine hours to Honolulu International (HNL), and upon arrival, you will be very close to Highways H1 and H201 which offer convenient transportation.

Attractions

Pearl Harbor is one of the biggest attractions in Honolulu, and the sunken battleship Arizona can be toured at its dockside location. The main beach destination on the island of Oahu is Waikiki, famed for its row of hotels, restaurants and shops, as well as its pristine beaches and clear waters.

The Lyon Arboretum is a 194-acre botanical garden situated in a rainforest, with more than 5,000 different plants on display from Hawaii and across Polynesia. The Bishop Museum is Hawaii's official state museum, and it features the best collection of Polynesian artworks and artifacts in the entire state. The Mission Houses Museum is three historic buildings that highlight the living conditions of early missionaries to Hawaii.

Hints and tips

The temperatures fluctuate very little through the seasons in Honolulu, averaging in the 80s, with spikes into the 90s, and rainfall is uniformly light throughout the year. Any rainfall that does occur is in the months from October to April, and is generally very light.
