Attractions and tips

If you are ready to head straight to the beach, make a stop at Kua Bay Beach Park where you can enjoy the beautiful blue waters and the sand beneath your toes.

Don’t forget to stop by the Honokohau Marina and Harbor and rent a small boat to take in some of the sights. The marina also offers several great places to savor the local cuisine, including the popular Harbor House Restaurant.

If you’re planning to travel from October to April, you will probably get a little bit of rain during your stay. However, most of the time the weather reaches about 85 to 90 degrees in the summer and only 79 to 83 during the winter. This means shorts and sunglasses are a must when the time comes to pack your suitcase.
