Free lunch and mai tai was great! It makes you feel appreciated as a customer
Disappointed that they gave a form to fill out before we could receive our luggage, and did not explain until I asked, that the second side of the form was optional. That second side had a number of personal questions from the travel beauro about the reason for my trip that left me feeling like personal space had been invaded.
Very nice staff
Didn’t realize there would be food! Nice surprise but we had already brought our own from grocery store
Fantastic experience. The new first class is AWESOME

Kahului International Airport (OGG) is the key entry point for business and pleasure travelers, heading to the island of Maui. The airport allows you access to beautiful beaches like Mana Kai Maui Resort, exciting water sports activities, as well as the scenic Haleakala Park. However, the airport is located some distance away from hotels and resorts, so you should arrange for a rental car. You’ll find many rental services can be reached easily via shuttle from the airport.
A few miles away from the airport is the Kana Beach County Park, where you can learn about kite boarding, sail boarding and sea kayaking. Also close to the airport is the Kanaha Pond State Sanctuary, which is home to the endangered Hawaiian stilt and coot.
You can head out of town along route 320 to Wailuku, to get a glimpse of historic buildings and a museum that holds missionary relics. Further up the same route is the Lao State Park, which boasts of a rock pillar that rises to 2,250 feet above sea level. If you love exploring the outdoors, Haleakala National Park is just 38 miles away from town, and is well worth the drive out.
You should plan for it to take approximately five hours and 40 minutes to fly from Seattle-Tacoma international airport (SEA) to Kahului International Airport in Maui.
