If you're flying from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), there are many attractions to keep you busy during your visit. BWI has a shuttle service to its nearby rental car facility, where you can pick up a car once you arrive, so that you can get out exploring right away.
History buffs looking to explore Baltimore should head to Fort McHenry where the National Anthem was written. Alternatively you could visit the Sandy Point State Park, where you can relax on the beach and watch ships passing under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Hop on Interstate 295 North to visit the Inner Harbor. You can spend the afternoon exploring the Baltimore Aquarium and the Science Center. After, grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants near the harbor like Wit & Wisdom, or head over to Little Italy to dine at Aldo’s Ristorante Italiano. You can also take Interstate 97 South to Annapolis to explore the capital or Quiet Waters Park.
You will have ample time to plan your visit during the five and a half hour flight between Seattle and Baltimore. After landing in Charm City, there are multiple restaurants in the main terminal to provide you with energy before you drive off to enjoy the city.
