Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) can be accessed by taking I-80 straight to the terminals. If you prefer, however, airport shuttles, limousines, the TRAX light rail and the Amtrak can also get you there.

Flight duration from SLC to Long Beach Airport (LGB) is about 90 minutes. Lakewood Boulevard to I-405 is the best way to get into the city. LGB offers rental cars, taxis, the Long Beach bus line and the Metro Rail System as options for leaving the airport.

Attractions and Tips

Long Beach offers many attractions, including the RMS Queen Mary, The Pike, Belmont Shore, the Aquarium of the Pacific and the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Other sites to see are Los Cerritos Ranch House, El Dorado Park and the Museum of Latin American Art.

Weather in Long Beach is temperate and mild, with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing in the winter, and warm and sunny in the summer. The best neighborhoods for tourists are Belmont Shore, Naples and Downtown. LGB offers many domestic flights, including to Anchorage and Las Vegas.
