New York John F Kennedy International (JFK) can be reached via I-678 south from Queens and The Bronx, and travelers from Manhattan can take I-278 east to I-678 south. Typical flight times are between seven and nine hours, depending on connectors. After landing at Guadalajara Miguel Hidalgo (GDL), drivers can take Route 44 north to downtown.

Jalisco's capital city has a rich history with plenty of attractions to tell its story. Guadalajara has a humid subtropical climate, which means mild temperature with little variation. The hottest months of May and June have an average high around 76 degrees, while the coldest months of December and January have a high of around 63 degrees. Rain is substantial between June and September, but extremely limited between November and May.
