Chicago O’Hare International (ORD) is located 17 miles northwest of the city of Chicago and is America’s largest hub for United Airlines. The airport is accessible via main routes including Interstate Routes 90, 190 and 294. Flights to Myrtle Beach (MYR) take between two-to four hours and after arriving there, Highway 101 will take you westward and inland to other major routes. Routes 17 and 31 are also nearby routes going north and south.
Most travelers choose to visit Myrtle Beach during from May through September period to experience the full range of attractions offered by the area, as some close at the end of the summer season. One of the great attractions in the area is Broadway at the Beach, a huge collection of shops and other attractions, all in the same area.
