The Parque Historico Guayaquil is a must-see during your visit. Separated into three different sections, the park allows you to see the wildlife of the area, the architecture and even the urban aspects of the city. Guayaquil is the largest city in Ecuador. From January through to April, expect hot and humid conditions. A considerable amount of rainfall happens during this time as well. The rest of the year is an ideal time to visit. The temperatures cool down considerably and it is not unusual to experience light afternoon and evening breezes.
