About Indiana Hoosiers
The Indiana Hoosiers are one of the most historic and respected sports programs in all of the NCAA's storied existence. The program's iconic name, red uniform (and candy striped warm-up pants) and commitment to excellence in play have made it a representation of everything the NCAA league stands for.
The Hoosiers have won an amazing five NCAA championships, as well as having made 11 Final Four appearances. The team is seventh in that regard, and sixth in terms of total weeks spent ranked nationally at Number 1 in the country.
The Hoosiers officially began in 1900, when Indiana held its first basketball season, boasting a 1-4 record. From these humble beginnings sprung one of the most beloved programs in college sports, featuring some of history's greatest college players and coaches. Bob "The General" Knight led the squad for nearly 30 years from 1971 to 2000, during which the team won three of its five national titles. Recently, former Indiana player and current NBA competitor Victor Oladipo was awarded Player of the Year distinction by Sporting News.
The Hoosiers represent everything great about college basketball— don't miss your chance to see them take hardwood and remind everyone what makes basketball so great. Buy your tickets today!
