Tash Sultana was born in June of 1995 in Melbourne. From a young age everyone could tell that Tash was musically gifted, after picking up the guitar at the age of three. Throughout Tash’s early teenage years, they began teaching themselves how to play various instruments, totaling to over twenty today. While they were always playing music, it was not until 2013 that they really started pursuing it as a career. Starting off Tash would perform on the streets for tips of varying degrees, eventually making their way to Bandcamp and eventually YouTube. By 2016 Tash had made quite the name for themselves on the platform, garnering well over a million views. After gaining fame from YouTube, Tash released two tracks “Jungle” and “Notion”, both of which became hits and allowed for the singer to sign under Lemon Tree Music in 2016. In 2017 to support the album, Tash embarked on a world-wide tour with stops in Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom. After an album release again in 2018, Tash began another world-wide tour entitled the Homecoming Tour.
