About San Holo

San Holo is one of the most popular DJs and musicians in the world and has been universally acclaimed for his unique recording and performing style. While San Holo is his stage name (and obviously a play on the Star Wars hero Han Solo), his birth name is Sander van Dijck. He is best-known by his stage name, San Holo, and is from the Netherlands. He has worked as a musician, record producer, and composer. He shot to international superstardom following his remix of the popular Dr. Dre song titled "The Next Episode." He posted his composition on YouTube, where it has since been viewed more than 175 million times. He has since released music with several different record labels including Monstercat, Barong Family, and OWSLA. He has also founded his own label titled Bitbird, with which he has released several singles.

A History of San Holo

His very first EP, titled Cosmos, was released through Heroic in 2014 and charted in the Top 100 of the Electronic category of iTunes. His debut album, titled Album1, was released through his own record label mentioned above. This album debuted at #7 of the Dance and Electronic Albums section of Billboard. In 2017, he was nominated for the New Artist of the Year in the Electronic Music Awards category. Since that time, he has continued to work and releases new songs regularly. His popularity has risen and his live performances have become well-known for their energetic style. Now, San Holo is going on tour for the upcoming year, giving everyone the opportunity to see what has made him so popular.
