A self-taught virtuoso takes the stage
Growing up with a local radio star as a father, Kenny Wayne Brobst soon developed his own obsession with music. After meeting Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kenny devoted himself to learning guitar. He taught himself by listening to cassettes and repeating the notes over and over again. His talent and determination was soon noticed by the blues industry. After performing at the Red River Revel Arts Festival in Shreveport, he was invited to join Giant Records. He released his debut album, Ledbetter Heights, in 1995, hitting number one on the US Blues chart. He opened for other stars, like Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, and the Rolling Stones. His fifth album, 10 Days Out: Blues from the Backroads, was a stunning collaboration with some of his personal music idols, legends like B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Henry Townsend.
With a new Kenny Wayne Shepherd album out in 2017, fans are anxious to see him in his element, performing live. Snag your cheap Kenny Wayne Shepherd tickets here for the unforgettable experience of hearing this blues genius live!
