A family affair turns national
Started in Portland, Joseph came into being when Natalie Closner Schepman convinced her younger twin sisters to collaborate with her. She had been living in Nashville, trying to make it on her own, when she realized something integral was missing from her vision. Performing with Meegan and Allison felt more natural than continuing on her own. Their name pays dual homage to their hometown of Joseph, Oregon, and their grandfather. In 2014 they independently released Native Dreamer Kin. Their folk sensibilities clicked with listeners in small, intimate house shows, building a devoted cult fan base. The following year they joined forces with ATO Records. Their sophomore album was a simmering indie hit, topping the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Joseph drummed up national support with performances of their debut single, "White Flag," on shows like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ellen, and CONAN. They've become a festival favorite, playing at fests like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Glastonbury.
Joseph is bound to keep growing in popularity as they tour the country, their delicate harmonies and soulful lyrics reverberating with listeners in every walk of life. Pick up your cheap Joseph tickets here to experience their moving and empowering music live!
