Speeding to the Top
Started in 1994 in Chicago as Brawl, the band's initial momentum ground to a halt when their lead singer quit. When David Draiman auditioned, there was instant chemistry, and in 1996 the band was reborn as Disturbed. Their debut album in 2000 made Disturbed an overnight success. Their 2001 tour with Marilyn Manson cemented their international star status. The band went on hiatus in 2011 and the members pursued other projects. While the future of Disturbed was uncertain, in 2015 the band came back with their album Immortalized. In 2018, they dropped another album, the first to include bassist John Moyer in 8 years, titled Evolution.
Rocking the Heavy Metal scene
The band's sound blends the lines between nu metal, hard rock, and heavy metal, with lyrics dipping into everything from the dark side of universal struggles, like insanity and war, to fantasy elements like demons and vampires. Their signature sound and lyrics have resulted in hit tracks like "Down with the Sickness," "Indestructible," "The Vengeful One" and more.
Sickness Tour - Cancelled
Starting in July 2020, Disturbed wanted to start their Sickness tour for all of their loyal fans. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the tour was postponed to 2021 where it was set to start in May. In 2021, the group announced they would not be able to complete their shows so the tour was cancelled. The band planned to go on tour with Staind and Bad Wolves and travel throughout North America.
