A pioneer in thrash metal
Anthrax started in 1981 in New York City. Beginning their career around the same time as the other "Big Four" thrash metal groups - Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer - Anthrax went on to be one of the most influential and successful metal bands of all time. Anthrax released their debut album in 1984, but shortly after the band replaced their lead vocalist. Anthrax's lineup has changed over the years, but the resulting mix of ideas has helped create their unique music while keeping true to their metal sound. Anthrax has always been willing to experiment with their style, bringing elements from other genres into their music and blending humor into their dark lyrics. Anthrax stands out from other thrash metal bands with their punk and groove metal influences, though they retain the high speed, churning melodies that thrash metal is famous for. They've had numerous hit singles, including songs like "Madhouse," "I Am the Law," "Belly of the Beast," and more.
Fans swarm to the theatrical Anthrax concerts to see these charismatic performers for themselves. Buy your cheap Anthrax tickets here to experience the complex and intoxicating world of Anthrax for yourself!
