Growing up Jeselnik was always the class clown, quickly realizing laughter was key to staying out of trouble. He got a job working for Comedy Central Roasts. First he was a writer, but he was soon invited to perform as well. His breakout moment came on the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump, which firmly established him and his black comedy style in the New York City scene. He also roasted Charlie Sheen and Roseanne Barr before going on to host The Jeselnik Offensive, which was edgy and hilarious. Caligula came out in 2013, followed by Thoughts and Prayers two years later. Thoughts and Prayers became one of the biggest standup specials of the year.
