From Ohio to the international music scene

Growing up in Cleveland, Alina Baraz had a unique blend of musical influences. Her Russian parents were avid fans of classical music, and Alina was fascinated by modern pop. She got started in performance through her church choir, and her love of music eventually motivated her to move to Los Angeles. Baraz's debut into professional music is a one-of-a-kind story. Since then, Alina Baraz has become a hit at festivals like Lightning in a Bottle, Electric Forest Festival, and Lollapalooza. She released "Electric," showcasing Khalid, and toured with Coldplay. She continued to release tantalizing singles until her debut solo EP, The Color of You, came out in 2018.
