Skyrocketing In The EDM World

Alessandro Lindblad was born in Stockholm in July of 1991. He released his first self-titled EP at the age of 19, which got him into contact with Sebastian Ingrosso. Within his first year of DJing, Alesso was featured on DJ Magazine's top 100 DJs of the year. After his release of "Calling", MTV named him one of the EDM Rookies to Watch in 2012. He signed to Def Jam Recordings 2 years later, becoming the second EDM producer to ever be signed to the label. During his Heroes Tour, Alesso became involved with Chime for Change, a charity that seeks to improve the lives of women. Through the charity, Alesso raised over $50,000. In more recent ventures, Alesso has put in effort to bridge the gap between East and West international artists. He released a collaboration with Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. Later he released "Years" with K-pop singer Chen.
