The origins of Air Supply start in Melbourne, when Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell met on the set of Jesus Christ Superstar. Joined by Jeremy Paul, Air Supply released their debut single in 1976. The following year their self-titled debut album went wide, hitting gold certification in Australia. Touring with Rod Stewart in Australia and the US helped cement Air Supply's mainstream success, and singles like "All Out of Love" and "Every Woman in the World" climbed the charts. Air Supply's music swept the world, from Taiwan to Cuba. In 2005 they performed for a crowd of 175,000 people in Havana. Air Supply received one of the highest honors in music in 2013 when they were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame.
