Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. It felt a bit outdated . Also, when we booked, it said breakfast included 11B woke up in the morning and went downstairs. There was no breakfast and also nobody of any staff was there to even talk to. Which felt very strange. The roomix itself was clean but the whole way carpets add an unpleasant smell. Not the greatest experience

Arrived on a windy rainy snowstorm night. Our gps took us to the back of the hotel building and we had circled around the canyon hills in the dark for twenty minutes before we could find the check in desk on the 2nd floor (via wet slippery stairs). The check in area had a strong unpleasant smell on that night. And we were told our room was on the 3rd floor and no elevator available. Stressed and disappointed.

The room was clean and lovely. Loved the gas fire place. Would stay there again. However, the check in attendant didnt say anything about bears or bear safety (which we already knew about). Our car only had muddy bear prints on the side, but another guest had their car damaged by a bear. They were foreign and had no idea about the aggressive bears in the area. I strongly suggest a flier be handed out , in multiple languages at check in and in the rooms about bear safety and how to prevent car damage (leave nothing with a scent in the vehicle).

Breakfast is healthy, but very minimal. Room is very clean and service is excellent. However, sounds travel rather well through walls, and our neighbors had TV or something like quite loud and for a long part of the night (at least 9pm to 1am). We were too tired from hiking to complain.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very kind and very helpful. We had one problem when I was using the hair dryer and my friend was using the microwave the power shuts off, we went to the front desk but nobody was there and its like 6:30ish and we were in a hurry to leave so when we came back in a few hours we told the front desk and they fixed it right away(circuit breaker trip). We will definitely come back.

Beautiful location

Very welcoming check in. Spacious room with great view of the mountains. Clean bathroom with lovely toiletries. The "grab & go" breakfast was a welcomed bonus. The only negative was the stairs!

I had high hopes for this location. The facility is average at best. The path into the room was stained noticably dirty. I came around 2 pm because the website said we could check in early and was met by a very rude lady ask what we needed and informed me check in wasn't till 4 pm. I explained my understanding and she said based on availability and there is none. Fortunately she was gone when we checked in. The gentleman was very nice and a complete difference from the former person. The breakfast was fruit, yogurt, and bread. Definitely nothing fancy.
