Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Best place to stay for a ski trip to Mammoth! You walk across a driveway and you’re at the gondola! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Bathroom use a little update but who cares when you are ski in ski out. Great restaurant and bar right in hotel. Didn’t need to leave the mountain for anything except church. Shout out to St Joseph’s Catholic Church. The priest was incredible! Will definitely stay at this inn again!

It is great for where it is at and the room was good for the price. Just wish it had a microwave. Although there is micros in common areas. We went midweek and on an off week. Also booked far in advance. Will probably definitely stay there again.

Someone did a hit and run on my Silver 4Runner while I was parked in the Mammoth Mountain Inn parking garage for 2-1/2 days and I was told by the Mammoth Mountain Inn receptionist that there are no security cameras so due to the lack of security I will have to pay at least a thousand bucks for car repairs since I don't have the criminal's license plate number. Additionally, Mammoth ski resort closed due to snowing, while they could have at least opened opened one run at the base of the mountain. For these major reasons, my stay at Mammoth Mountain Inn was terrible.

Property needs updating definitely, but the location beats all. The slope, the main lodge, and lifts are right there crossing the street, and you can also rent the ski equipment at the hotel to avoid the crowds.
