A disappointing experience to say the least! This home is on a very busy and noisy road. It is important to note that we did not feel safe to walk anywhere directly from the house. Also, traffic can be heard all through the night which made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Upon arrival we found a take out container with food and a fork still in it on one of the shelves upstairs and a dirty tea cup left on the living room shelves. Later in the visit we found a dirty pacifier (discovered by our toddler grandchild - gross!) and a dirty sock in one of the bedrooms. The beds in the nooks located in the upstairs retreat over the garage seemed to have been slept in. We did find the abundance of yard art to be a bit strange - ranging from alligators, to a leopard, giant turtles, dragons and children by a wishing well.The lights and electrical outlets in the dining room did not work at any time during our stay. Unfortunately, the owner was unable to resolve an issue with the lighting over text.On a positive note, the owner was responsive and available to answer questions by text. The home is a short drive to charming Woods Hole. There were lots of towels provided along with a generous supply of soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked with lots of paper napkins, trash bags, coffee filters, plates and glasses. I could not recommend this property to others, nor would I stay here again when visiting family in the area.
