Cedar Peak Lodge - Mt. Hood Basecamp

Summary:

Cedar Peak Lodge gives six guests a comfortable base between days on Mt. Hood and evenings beneath the trees. The golf course is across the street, while trails, rivers, ski areas, and Government Camp are within driving distance. Back at the property, a private hot tub, full kitchen, gathering spaces, and three bedrooms make room to recover and reconnect. Pets are welcome, so the whole group can join the mountain escape.

The Space:

Cedar Peak Lodge is built around the rhythm of a Mt. Hood stay: an early start for the mountain, a full day outside, and a comfortable place to gather when the gear comes off.

The living room gives the group a central place for conversation, games, or a quiet evening after skiing, hiking, fishing, or golf. The full kitchen supports everything from breakfast before the trail to dinner at the property, with dining space for meals together.

Outside, the private hot tub sits among the trees, creating a welcome finish to a day on the slopes, golf course, river, or trail. The property's outdoor space gives guests and pets more room to enjoy the mountain setting.

Cedar Peak Lodge accommodates up to six guests:

Primary bedroom: King bed

Second bedroom: Queen bed

Third bedroom: Queen bed

Two full bathrooms serve the bedrooms and shared spaces.

With three private bedrooms, the property works well for families, couples, or friends who want time together without placing every part of the stay in one room.

Guest Access:

Guests have private use of Cedar Peak Lodge, including the three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining spaces, outdoor areas, and hot tub.

Self-guided arrival information and access instructions are provided before check-in through your Arrival Getaways Boarding Pass.

The Neighborhood:

Cedar Peak Lodge is located in Mt. Hood Village, where forest roads, rivers, golf, and mountain recreation shape the surrounding area. The golf course at The Resort at the Mountain is across the street, placing a round within reach without a day of travel.

Mt. Hood National Forest offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing, waterfalls, river access, scenic drives, and wildlife viewing. Winter brings skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and other snow activities at Timberline, Mt. Hood Meadows, Mt. Hood Skibowl, Summit Pass, and Cooper Spur.

Welches provides restaurants, cafes, breweries, shops, and everyday supplies. Government Camp, about ten miles away, adds mountain dining and access to more recreation near the slopes.

Getting Around:

A vehicle is recommended in every season for reaching ski areas, trailheads, rivers, restaurants, shops, and surrounding Mt. Hood communities.

Mountain roads may be wet, icy, snowy, or affected by changing weather. Winter guests should check road and weather conditions before travel and arrive with a vehicle and equipment suited to current requirements.

Your Arrival Getaways Boarding Pass includes our Transportation Guidebook along with recommendations for skiing, hiking, fishing, golf, waterfalls, scenic drives, restaurants, and local experiences.

The location was beautiful, with the golf course across the street and amazing mountain views. The amenities were plentiful and the yards were fantastic for the dogs, was almost as if we had our own private dog park in back. The house was fantastic, beds were comfortable and the common space was awesome. We will certainly consider staying there again. Thanks!
