The staff was very accommodating. Our initial room had no view and the next morning we were moved to a much nicer room with a view on the 7th floor. The location was good with a restaurant right across the street and 3 blocks away DuPont circle with lots of eating options. Plus the price fit our budget.

Due to renovations there was no parking and the smell on the first floor made me nauseous. Amenities are also shut down and the the check in was moved to the restaurant portion of the hotel. Most of the staff was professional and courteous.

The front staff was very passive aggressive. Especially the woman in the front. We drove 8 hours and get there and she ruined our stay be for us started when asking general questions about the local area. We were reassured later in the elevator it wasn’t just us. Another gentleman had the same complaint about her the day prior. Lastly, the air conditioning units do NOT go below 74 to conserve energy. Needless to say we had a very unpleasant experience.
