Not a bad little Hotel, nothing fancy at all , but very convenient to the beach and cheap close to beach front shops great for a little stepping out ( wink wink) very tucked away and private will stay again.

Old hotel but renovated. The room was clean. Furniture had scratches. Pool was small. Beds were hard. Bathroom was updated. Great access to the boardwalk and beach!!! They let us stay parked there after checkout, long as we left before new checkins began.

Parking was available. Bare minimum with room. Tv didnt work when we drove in late night. Bed sheets were not in great condition stained. Towels had stains on them. Questionable cleanliness luckily we didn't stay a whole weekend. One comment I heard was at least they had a hand soap dispenser. We wouldn't stay there for a night again.

6/10 The staff was courteous and we had no issues there. We really enjoyed how everything was within walking distance including the beach, various shops, the main strip, and various restaurants as well as activities. However, our room had an odd smell the whole time almost like mildew covered up with cheap perfume, we also received some towels that were stained, the pool was decent but very poorly maintained, and our hairdryer looked like it was covered in burnt glue. With that the nice things are that our A/C worked and it worked well! The ice maker outside was also very helpful for us, the mini fridge and microwave worked though we had to clean them before using them, parking was very easy access and nice, and the shower had decent water pressure and was hot. Overall it wasn’t the best BUT we would consider staying here again given we were out of the motel more than we were in it.

The room and kitchen were clean; staff dropped off fresh towels and toilet paper to us each day; staff did not hesitate to help if we needed something. It was a rainy weekend so the pool was closed, but it looked clean and ready to go whenever weather was better. Please note that if you are getting a room with a kitchen, they were not kidding... they only provide the kitchen, no other kitchen necessities. You must bring your own pots and pans, dishes, utensils, Etc. Good experience overall. Only a block and a half from the beach, and only about 5 minutes to the convention center.

We enjoyed that the parking was so easy and very close to our room. The elevator to the 4th floor worked well. The room was ok with the air conditioning working efficiently and the bathroom was clean. The bathroom did need new caulking and a new shower curtain but it came with shower soap and shampoo. We missed having a coffee pot in the room but the refrigerator was clean and working well. We did not like the holes in the bed comforters. Our "ocean view" room only provided a small view that was in-between buildings and there was no seating in the balcony/hallway. We choose Blue Marlin for its close proximity to the beach and it's lower rate compared to other hotels. We didn't use the pool but others seemed to enjoy it. We would consider staying there again.

While the physical aspect of the property is wonderful, it’s the owner and her staff that really light this place up. They bring a beautiful family like atmosphere to the hotel.
