The room was clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and the service excellent. Parking is very convenient. The location is very central being only half a block from the downtown harbour. This is our go-to accommodation.

Whenever we spend any time in Victoria we always book a suite at the Royal Scot Hotel. The location, comfort and rates are in line with other nearby hotels but...the comfort is hard to beat.

We questioned the size of the Queen bed as it seemed more like a double. But they told us no it was a queen and that was that. Although the sheets only went to the edge of the top of the bed so they didn't cover us very well and the bed sagged in the middle so it was uncomfortable for two people. We didn't both to complain again as they seemed disinterested when we talked to them initially. I have stayed at the Royal Scot in the past without issue but I'm not sure if I will stay there again.
