Pictures on website did not match reality. Motel room had been updated in the cheapest way possible. Example door knob of closet was stuck on and came off the door when I opened the it. Toilet paper holder was stuck on the side of a cabinet. Outside looked run down and most people appeared to be permanent residents.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff are welcoming and accommodating. However, when it comes to cleanliness, I don’t like it. I felt so itchy when I woke up the next day, then I found out that I got a lot of bedbug’s bites, also, microwave and even kitchen utensils aren’t clean enough to use. Better to bring your own towel as well.
Room that was given smelled heavily of smoke. It has obvious that someone had smoked recently in the room. With two small children, it made it very difficult to enjoy our time in the room. We woke up with headaches due to the smoke.

Convenient and Affordable room with Kitchen
This suite fully met my needs, but overall was only average. The price was great and I would stay again.
One bed was very comfortable, the other was too soft. The kitchen was great too have, but some dishes were dirty and the air fryer was full of grease. The fridge was too small for our food for 2 days.
The property is affordable, relative to its surroundings,, and is walking distance from downtown.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room was large, neat and clean. Kitchen area clean. “fluffy” towels instead of feeling like sandpaper at some places! The owner was very accommodating.
had read some reviews suggesting that the people at the inn looked intimidating or unusual. It's true that the staff have a different style, some with tattoos and a unique look, but they were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. While the inn itself may not appear to be the most modern or fully equipped from the outside, our room was surprisingly well-stocked with amenities more than I've seen in many other places. We even had the option to cook our own meals, which was a big plus. Despite some of the negative reviews I came across, this inn would be my first choice if I travel to Victoria again.
