The hotel is brilliantly located, you are two stops away on the water bus and can be in san marco the main island in under 10 minutes. The island itself is a quieter and removed from the busy crowds. Our only feedback is that the hotel is advertised as a four star luxury stay and based on the facilities, service, quality of breakfast I would say it’s closer to a 2/3 star hotel. The breakfast is buffet and was quite standard, nothing too special. Again the hotel is advertised and being set within the grounds of an old nunnery, but you cannot access the grounds themselves, the building is built around them. The only other factor is the gym is very small with 2 machine and some weights but is pictured as larger due to the placement of the mirror. Having said all this, the hotiday hotel scheme allows you to book a room within the hotel at a much more affordable rate. And on this basis I would highly recommend this stay if you want to explore Venice and see everything.

Hotiday is legit

This hotel is actually the Maison Boutique Al Redentore, but got a great deal through Hotiday. It was a bit disconcerting to see the same hotel listed, but hotiday is legit. The hotel is great and the views of the garden are splendid. Although the garden cannot be accessed from the hotel grounds as it's part of a near by church.
